Bawang Merah And Bawang Putih
Once upon a time, in a village lived a wealthy widower
and his daughter named Bawang Putih. Bawang Putih’s father felt that Bawang Putih
was sad after her mother’s gone, than her father re-married again with a widow
who had a daughter named Bawang Merah.
Scene 1
When bawang putih’s family was in the living room, she
brought some snack for her family. Her father began the conversation that he
would leave the town for trading.
Father : “My wife, Bawang
Merah, and Bawang Putih, I’d like to talk about something that is very important for you. Our wealth almost run out. May be I will go the town for trading.”
Bawang putih : ”Are you serious?”
Mother : ”How long do
you want to leave us?”
Father : ”I’m serious,
may be for some months.”
Bawang Merah : ”Don’t feel sad bawang
putih, our father look for some money, you still have
us, your sister and your mother
Mother : “Of course,
we’ll be here for you. I believe you won’t
feel alone.
Father : “Look at your
mother,she agrees, your mother will protect you here,don’t be
afraid”
Bawang putih : But, I’m sorry
mother, I want to stay with my dad much longer”
Father : “OK bawang
putih, I will delay my purposefor a month”
Bawang putih : “Thank you
father…
Scene 2
In Bawang
merah’s room….Bawang Merah and her mother were very angry with Bawang putih
because she made her father delay his purpose to leave the town…So they could
not manage his wealth. And then they wanted to plan something
Mother : “I’m very angry to Bawah Putih.”
Bawang Merah : “Why Mom?”
Mother : “Father
delay his purpose because of Bawang Putih is very spoiled”
Bawang Merah : “Ya, I’m angry too,
Why don’t we poison her father”
Mother : “You are
smart, but how ?”
Bawang Merah : “What if we bring his
a poisoned drink”
Mother : “Good Idea!
how about Bawang Putih?”
Bawang Merah : “We ask her to wash
our cloths in the river,
and we start our plan there.”
Mother : “OK. I will
take care of this plan, and you prepare the drink.”
Bawang Merah : “OK Mom”

Mother : ”Bawang putih…
Bawang Putih : “Yes Mom, What’s
up?”
Mother : “Wash our
cloths in the river cleanly”
Bawang Putih : “But.....”
Mother : “Just do it !!!”
Bawang putih : “Yes mom”
(when Bawang Putih went to the river, merah made a glass of poisoned tea
for her father, then merah woke up her father)
Bawang merah : “Dad, wake up! it’s
morning, I bring you a glass of tea.”
Father : “Thank you
bawang merah!”
Bawang merah : “Let’s drink it
dad…it’s still warm”
Father : “( a few
minutes later) what happened to my
throat?
Mather : “Just feel it.

Bawang Merah : “Me too. I don’t like
to have a father like you and a sister like bawang putih”

A few hours later, bawang putih came and saw that her father was dead.
Bawang Putih : “Dad, wake up! what
happened to you?”
Mother : “Just relax
Putih, your father has already dead”
Bawang Merah : “Yes Putih, mother is
true, just make your self relax.”
Bawang putih : “Merah, Mom, What
happened to my father?”
Mother : “I don’t know
my daughter, just let him go away”
Scene 5
Next day, Merah and her mother began their enormity, they asked Bawang
Putih to do everything in the house without breather.
Mother :
Bawang Putih! Bawang Putih!
Bawang Putih :
Yes Mom…
Mother :
Have you done your duty to clean the house?”
Bawang Putih :
“Not yet Mom, i’m washing.”
Mother :
“Do it quickly!!!”
Bawang Putih :
“Why do you change after my father’s death Mom?”
Bawang Merah : “Heh!
Dumbass! Do you thing that we love you and
your stupid father?”
Mother :
“Yeah, we just want to look for your father‘s richness”
Bawang Putih :
(crying)
Mother :
Enough! Just wash our clothes or you won’t
have a dinner tonight.”
Bawang Putih :
“Yes Mom”
Scene 6
Bawang Putih :
“Why are they so cruel to me?” (Unfortunatly
the clothes washed away)
Bawang Putih :
“Oh My God, What will I do? My clothes.. My mother
will kill me if she knows”
(Bawang putih ran after the clothes at the edge of the
river and suddenly she met with the old man)
Bawang Putih : “Grandpa?
Do you see my clothes there?”
Grandpa :
“Yeah sweetheart, I just take your clothes Floating
on the river. Is it yours?”
Bawang Putih :
“Yes, may you give it back to me? If not, my mom will be angry to me this night”
Granpa :
“But u must help me to cook for mydinner”
Bawang Putih :
“Yes grandpa…(smile)”
Scene 7
In the granny’s house
Bawang Putih :
“Do you stay here alone grandpa?”
Granpa :
“Yes, I’m lonely, let’s cook sweetheart”
(At the moment, in the mid when she cooked, suddenly,
the old lady called bawang Putih and she wanted to give something for Putih)
Grandpa :
“Come here sweetheart!”
Bawang Putih :
“Do you call for me grandpa?”
Grandpa :
“Here are your clothes, and I have something for u, bring this for a gift cause u have helped me to
serve for dinner.”
Bawang Putih :
“Thank you Grandpa”
Scene 8
Merah & her mother very angry cause Putih leaved a long time
Bawang Merah : “Where
is she going? I am very impatient for
this waiting.”
Mother :
“Yes, she is very cheeky”
(suddenly Putih came)
Bawang Merah : “Where
have you gone? You take a long time just for washing”
Bawang Putih :
“I’ sorry, I’ll tell you something.”
(Putih told everything to Merah & her mother, after that she gaves the
box to them & they were very surprised. Suddenly, Merah & her mother
went to the river where Putih met the granny)
Scene 9
Arrived in the river, Merah & her mother expressly throw their clothes
away to the river
Bawang Merah : “Mom,
let’s we follow our clothes, who knows
me meet the grandpa.”
Mother :
“Let’s go sweetheart”
(After followed for a long time, finally they met with
the grandpa and then, they asked about their clothes)
Bawang Merah : “Grandpa,
do you see my clothes?”
Grandpa :
“Yes sweetheart, are they yours?”
Bawang Merah : “Yes
grandpa”
Grandpa :
“But You must help me to cook for dinner and I will give your clothes back.”
Bawang Merah : “OK….”
Scene 10
Grandpa :
“Cook quickly, I am very hungry”
Bawang Merah :
“I won’t do this thing if I don’t get riches”
Mother :
“Yes you are right! all my nails are broken but I will do everything for richnes.”
(a few moment,
the grandpa came while carried a box of the clothes, Suddenly Merah grabs
the box before grandpa started to talk & went away at the same time she
pushed the grandpa)
Bawang Merah :
“This is mine.”
Mother :
“Yes, we are get rich……yeeeeiii……”
Scene 11
After they arrived home, bawang putih
just met her sister and
mother and continues her housework. Bawang Merah and her motherwere ignore her.
They were very busy with the box
Bawang Merah :
“Come on Mom, let’s open the box.”
Mother :
“OK , come on”
When they opened it, they were surprising so bad. Unfortunately, snakes
appear from the box and bite both of them. Bawang merah and her mother cried in pain before their deaths are coming. Bawang Putih
came and bawl
when she appreciated that her sister & her mother died.
Bawang Putih :
“Mom, Bawang Merah, What happened to you?
Don’t leave me alone here”
Suddenly the granny came and Putih was surprised because of that appearance. After that the
granny changed to be a fairy
Fairy : “Don’t be fearful
sweetheart. Your mother & sister are very greedy, it’s just a
judgment for what have they done. I want give you a present for your kindness. Please ask a request and I will grant everything u want.
Bawang Putih :
“Could I meet with my father just for the last time?”
Fairy : “OK, your wish is granted.
But don’t forget about
who you are sweetheart, Good Bye”
Bawang Putih :
“Dady..…!”
Father :
Don’t be sad sweetheart. I just have a little time here, please use the riches that the granny had given to you for the first time in order to continue your life, and don’t be a greedy girl like your sister & mother
Bawang Putih :
“Yes dady, thank you for the advice”
Father :
“My time has run out my sweetheart, Good bye… I
will be there for you”
Bawang Putih :
“Good Bye dady, rest in peace you there”
crime and greedy will not make our lives a quiet and
peaceful, it will bring disaster to us. so that's the end of the story of our
